Pritzker Claims 3rd Straight NAC Cheerleading Title

2016 NAC Champions

Butler College Prep (Jan 23, 2016)  -  The Pritzker Cheerleading Team captured their third consecutive NAC title in front of a capacity crowd of 1200 energized fans at Butler College Prep.

The Jaguars answered every challenge in what proved to be the most competitive NAC field to date. Pritzker's championship performance was just enough to narrowly edge a dynamic routine by runner-up, Muchin.  The host, Butler, claimed third place in just their second year competing at the varsity level.

First year Pritzker Head Coach, Alison Lifka, credited this year's championship performance to the team's overall commitment.  "Our team's dedication is what led to our success.  They motivated one another to get out of bed and make it to school for 6am practices.  This team was dead set on winning a third championship in a row. This drive pushed them through the season."

The degree of difficulty for Pritzker's routine, specifically the stunts, was apparent. Lifka commented, "this is something we really focused on nailing this season.  Our vision for this routine was to be sharp and fierce, and I think we accomplished that."

Baker, Butler, Bulls Prep, Comer, Golder, Hansberry, Johnson, Muchin, Noble Street, Pritzker, Rowe-Clark, and UIC rounded out the 12 team field.  The 1200 person crowd was the largest in NAC Cheerleading history.

Pritzker's 2016 Cheerleading Championship moves the school into 2nd in all-time NAC titles with 12.
